Indigo is a whelk who dresses as a human for tax reasons. Unable to see or hear, he has books dictated to him using morse code rapped against the side of his shell by his pet dwarf, Muchasmuch. He enjoys olives, badgers and progressive rock music for their innate similarities. He is currently hiding from Spaniards in a small farmhouse near Dorking.
