The Enchantress goes under this particular pseudonym for purposes of reviewing and taking part in discussions about speculative fiction, so she thought it would be appropriate to stick to it. Under her own name, she also writes spec. fiction, some of it with the more unusual definitions of speculative crime and historical science fantasy. She maintains that she didn't just make those genres up for entertainment purposes.
