Jack loves getting prizes and rewards as long as they are NOT kisses. 'Kisses are yuk!' Throughout the story Jack describes how everyone kisses... 'Aunty Poppy's were sloppy, Uncle Micky's were sticky, Uncle Henry's were hairy and Great Uncle Russ was like being kissed by a very stiff brush'. Arrrr!
He doesn't mind a handshake or a pat on the back but kisses... No No No
