I particularly loved the tension created by the cropped pages and the humour of the story. For instance, the baby owl, upon hatching, recites a long sum! The cover is attractive, the pages are that lovely creamy colour and the ending truly a surprise, just a little scary!
This will be very popular for library and bedtime storytimes and as a prized personal possession, (including mine)!
