This is the only book I've ever seen with a Choking Hazard Warning on the back cover. It comes complete with a hook and dagger (both plastic), a map, booty, a scarf, skull-and-cross-bones tattoo and a ship in a bottle and would be the perfect gift for any under ten with piratical leanings. The items listed above are accompanied by The Pirate Captain's Log Book, which is nicely illustrated and contains a fund of information, not just about things piratical, like weapons and battles, flags and booty; but also about life on board ship: food and drink, how to tie knots, identify other ships, weigh anchor, swab the deck and rig the sails. I would have LOVED this when I was a child!
