This book carries a parental warning, since the main character, Lola, is an expert nagger. When she gets one of the new trendy Boggle hats all the kids want one too but fail to persuade their parents just how necessary these hats are. So Lola starts a club to teach the different forms of nagging from the 'please, please' to the 'blazing tantrum'. Some of these nags work on some of the parents but in the end Harold declares that he has worked all week to earn the money to buy a hat and the rest of the kids decide this is the best idea. An amusing story with a satisfying ending and wackily illustrated on every page by Arthur Robins. Kids will love it and parents would do well to read it too so they know what to expect!
