Urgum The Axe Man is a laugh-out-loud read which you will find hard to put down! This superbly funny book tells the tale of a family of barbarians whose lives have been interupted by the arrival of the worst possible kind... a girl! However, new family member Molly soon shows Urgum and his sons that even a female barbarian can have stacks of attitude.

Loveable characters and exciting story lines are compleimented perfectly by Reeves's lively illustrations and the wacky layout of this book. Urgum The Axe Man's appeal stretches from boys to girls, from children to adults, all of whom will find an aspect of one of the characters to relate to. The humour interwoven between the story lines makes this a great reading experience and will leave you wanting more.
