Measle Stubbs returns in his second adventure. After defeating his evil guardian Basil Tramplebone in the previous book, Measle has been reunited with his parents and is enjoying every minute of it. However, the mysterious Dragodon and his pack of wrathmonks are out for revenge. Measle must once again rely on his wits and his dog, Tinker to escape his enemies, although this time he does have a little help from his family
This sequel continues in the same vein of pace and originality. The illustrations; the fluorescent, plasticized jacket (which should give you the wear of a hard-back) and the tongue in cheek tone are all carried over. A book I looked forward to reviewing. Especially recommend for 9-13yr olds or any fans of Lemony Snicket.
