The Cleopatra Curse is the last story in the `Seven Fabulous Wonders' series. Set in Egypt during the rule of Queen Cleopatra and her brother Prince Ptolemy, this is an action packed and highly atmospheric tale that brings ancient history vividly to life.

Zeuxis was abandoned as a baby and raised by the Keeper of the Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria. The mystery surrounding his background and his own dreams lead the boy to believe that it is his destiny to become a charioteer. Zeuxis is determined to find a way to be part of the glamour and excitement of the chariot races...a desire strong enough to lead him into the dangerous world of spells and curses. When an ancient curse unleashes a dreadful demon, the whole course of history is threatened and Zeuxis faces his greatest challenge.

This is a fast-paced and thrilling story, with strong and interesting characters, including `appearances' from some of ancient history's most fascinating and infamous personalities. The main characters, Zeuxis and his friend Ahwere (grandaughter of a powerful witch) are brave and resourceful children who use their wits and courage to outsmart the demon and carve their place in the exciting and treacherous ancient world.

A fascinating read.
